Before you read this document, make sure to know all basics. Meaning, you should have read and understand the latest version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Rulebook. Although strictly following the game mechanics and rulings of the game, the information in this document is not official.

This document is to improve already existing rules knowledge. Most likely, you won't understand everything the first time you read through this document. We recommend reading this document closely and step by step. In this way, you won't overread important information.

For those that don't know some of the terms, a glossary is added to look them up. To that, examples are added to almost every mechanic to explain everything.

This is the translation of the German original "Extended Game Mechanics" (XGM).
